No makeup. A good looking woman is hot as hell without any makeup. You wouldn’t wander into a museum and apply a little Crayola to a Monet to touch it up, would you? _Last time I tried, they kicked me out._ ---

Don’t like makeup. Maybe a little lipstick or eye shadow, but no foundation at all ever. At least that’s my preference, it’s not what I get always. ---

Here are some ‘no makeup’ looks that certainly involve makeup. Although there are rare exceptions, women over 25 are likely using some product when you guys declare you love no makeup. I’ve only seen my wife of nearly 30 years wear make-up a handful of times. She really doesn’t need it, with a classic “farm girl” complexion. I had a few girlfriends who did use make-up, including one who had very pale skin and dyed black hair who, without makeup was nearly transparent. So I can understand the need in some cases. But that said, when I kiss a cheek, I’d rather not taste powder, and when I kiss a pair of lips, I’d rather not taste whatever it is they make lipstick out of (baby seal blubber, I think). ---

A little makeup as an accent is nice… but I really do mean _a little_. If your goal is to cover anything up, you’re using too much already. ---

My boyfriend has expressed on multiple occasions that he hates makeup, although I’m pretty sure he just hates the whore look. Haven’t tried the natural look out on him because I don’t normally “do” makeup, but I might get into it soon seeing as how I’m coming up on 30. The thing is, I have a finite amount of time to spend on beautification before I lose all patience with it. And frankly, I think he would prefer I put the effort into my hair. It looks rad when I straighten it, and resembles a curly rat’s nest when I don’t. 😛 ---

I’m not really into make up. I think most women look better without it. I can understand a little bit, but the full pancake thing freaks me out a little. ---

If you look good, you don’t need makeup, and if you look bad, makeup will not help. At best, makeup is unnoticeable, at worst it makes you look like a clown. So since the effect is neutral to negative, I prefer women who don’t wear it. Now if you’re an actress or a clown, or dressing up for Halloween, or whatever, feel free. But if you’re not wearing a costume and want to look like yourself, leave the makeup at home please. ---

If the question is "Do you like your woman to _look_ “made up,” my answer is pretty much the same as **diggerwam** ’s: not usually, but on special, formal occasions it’s perfectly appropriate. If it’s a question of wearing any kind of makeup at all, well, some women look perfect without any. Others can be improved by a bit of makeup to “fix” something like blotchy skin or invisible eyebrows. In that case, I would never insist, but I might think she looks slightly better with than without the makeup. ---

My father preferred no makeup and so my mother didn’t use it (maybe some very light face powder). I got used to that and asked my wife to avoid it. Now my sons prefer their wives without makeup. Sometimes there is an ad on SD for a Christian dating site (boy do they have a wrong number!) They have two female models, one of whom is heavily made up and, IMHO, hideous. The other is rather attractive, however. ---

]Well it’s really her business. I will say that heavy makeup (full heavy foundation plus everything else) to be a bit of a turn off. I personally think women are the most beautiful when they first wake up.\* But I’m fine with natural to “medium”. Her asking me, how much makeup she should wear is not a good thing. \*(next to me, nudge nudge wink wink) ---

In general I would say I prefer the ‘natural’ look but I know that usually includes some makeup that isn’t obvious to us guys. My wife wears very little, if any, and that is A-OK with me. Every now and then I’d like to see her tarted up but that probably takes a lot of practice to get right, so I’m OK if she doesn’t want to bother. ---

Special occasion. My wife and I are going to Vegas in a couple weeks. I would love if my wife made herself up like when I met her in the 80’s, including the giant Aqua Net hair. Sometimes ill watch movies just for the glamerous makeup. Gangster Squad is the most recent. Can’t remember her name but wow, that dark red lipstick was hawt. ---

Eye-liner and lip gloss. That’s what gets my gears cranking on my wife. She doesn’t wear anything else, and I had to actually talk her into the eye-liner. She doesn’t mind, but doesn’t do it but once a week or so.
