Your wallet I mean. My wife makes fun of my wallet, she says it’s much too thick. I don’t think it’s anything unusual. Right now, it’s 1 & 13/16ths inches thick (47mm) - it’s a bifold wallet with an extra card-carrying tab in the middle (like a book with one page in it). For uniformity in measuring, I placed it on the table without squishing it down, then marked its height from the tabletop. So, how big is yours? ---

I carry a cloth bi-fold with Velcro closure and at the moment it measures about 1/2 inch. This time yesterday it was significantly thicker but that was before last night’s round of drunken debauchery. ---

'Scuse me while I whip this out! I got me a full inch, here! Used to be thicker, but I eleminiated a bunch of worthless junk when my ass started to get sore from sittin’ on it. Only the essentials now. ---

about 1/4 in. actually, it’s not a wallet. It’s a couple flat pieces of leather sewn together with a plastic “window” on one side and a couple slits on the other. I feel like an idiot because there must be a name for this thing but I cant think of it… I’ve had it for years, too. In fact, it’s starting to fall apart and I was thinking of getting a new one, but now I don’t know what to ask for. Hmph. Anyways, I carry my drivers license in the window. In the two slits are my debit and credit cards. I also have my health ins. card and soc. sec. card in there as well. I carry my cash in money clip. I’ve never like carrying a wallet so this works perfect for me. ---

Mine is maybe 1/2 an inch thick. It is a pocketless bifold (only holds some credit cards and identification) with a money clip attached to it. I always carry it in my front pocket. ---

I tossed out the center bit on my wallet so it’s really thin. Maybe half an inch. But I don’t sit on it anyway, it goes in the front left pocket. ---

Five eights of an inch. It was nearly three quarters, until I read this thread, and realized what a load of crap I had accumulated. So I pitched some stuff. For a number of years I didn’t carry one at all, though, so I am still in my big wallet phase of life. Tris ---

Just got me a brand new billfold. The last one had just about fallen apart. I don’t like parting with wallets. They’re something you’ve become quite accustomed to. You know where all the stuff is. They fit just right in your back pocket. This one lasted longer than most of my appliances, several jobs, and both marriages. Now I have a new one. I’m still getting used to having my photos, ID’s, credit cards, and various paraphernalia in new places. Oh, yeah…it’s about an inch and a quarter thick. ---

Mine’s about 3/4" thick - unless I’ve loaded up with business cards or have two weeks worht of ATM reciepts, restaurant credit card slips, dentist appointment cards and on and on in there.
