# Men In Uniform - mmmmmmmm!!

I’ve seen soldiers in a few countries now, and I must say that the worst uniforms belong to the Italians. They have poofy things on their hats! Not so sexy.

On the other hand, one of the things I miss about Israel are the soldiers. I’m not sure Isaeli soldiers even have dress uniforms; I sure as hell never saw any. Instead, just lots of guys (and girls) wandering around the streets in khaki. _Very_ nice. They look like they’re ready to go into combat at any moment (the guns or rifles or whatever aren’t just a fashion accessory, but they’re always unloaded in public areas), which, while I wouldn’t want to see fighting, adds to the allure. The only bummer is that they’re usually too young. Men serve in the army from ages 18-20 or so. Fortunately, there’s always the reserves…
