I noticed a friend of mine seems to have shaved lower legs (below the knee). This is a guy. I have never known any guy to shave legs before, besides swimmers. Is this a new trend? If so, I had thought of it and wanted to start it so i could buy stock in Gillette. Do you shave your legs guys? Is this a metrosexual thing? ---

I’ve done it a few times in my life. Usually it was just on a whim. Although I found it easier to Nair first and then shave the remainder. ---

If it is a trend, is it related to shaving or trimming the pubes? FTR, I’ve never done either. Not that there’s anything wrong with that! Roddy ---

Is he shaving his own legs, or is he shaving someone else’s? Maybe he’s a crossdresser. Or maybe his girl and/or boyfriend asked him too. Or maybe he lost a bet. Or maybe he just likes feeling pretty. Probably, though, he likes cotton tube socks. Those will, after prolonged use, de-hairify the lower legs. I’m not particularly hirsute, but from mid-calf down I’m as smooth as a porn actresses’ assorted bits. – Though not as sought-after. ---

Cyclists and triathletes often shave their legs as well. I don’t personally. ---

I did it one time when I wanted to see if it’d help me get a tan faster. It does seem to help ---

My husband is a cyclist (road) and races. He shaves his legs and arms to prevent issues if he crashes and gets road rash. ---

Weightlifters & bodybuilders, also. Probably an athlete. I don’t think leg shaving is a metrosexual thing, tho I could be wrong. ---
