**Men, what do you really think of women’s bodies?** I like 'em. Though living in Ohio, I feel a sense of dread as warm weather approaches, considering all the flesh that starts appearing which is better left covered up. ---

Hadn’t thought of this, but there was a thread on women’s clothes sizes a while back that made this point. Depending on the brand/item, I’m anywhere from a size 2 to a size 10. I’m not going to complain too loudly about my genetics, but if I started a thread with “I’m a size 2” or with “I’m a size 10” there would probably be very different responses. Thanks for reminding us of this. ---

I notice if a woman seems confident with how she looks, and if she’s wearing something that’s the right size/style/cut for her figure. It doesn’t really matter what size she is. I’m partial to slender women, but I’ve seen some petite women who look uncomfortable and aren’t wearing something flattering, and they look terrible; I’ve also seen some larger framed, overweight women who project an air of confidence and are dressed well, and they look hot (_sexy_, not _overheated_) to me. ---

You’ve got **nothing** to worry about! Sure you’ll look terrible if you let your tummy and thighs pull you down, but if you focus instead on your shoulders and your hips, straighten those up and lift your chin and **own** your body, you’ll look great. There is absolutely nothing about these numbers that suggests you’re unattractive. ---

Honesty, confidence and fitness. If you project yourself honestly, no tiny skimpy bikinis, dress your age! And for goodness sake, SMILE. Be confident! You’re at the beach, have fun, get in the water. If you have some muscle tone, hardly anyone, including me, looks like an olympic athlete, but I have some muscle tone, and I’m trying. ---

MMMMM real women in swimwear as long as you are not a whale I am quite happy to see you and IMHO most men are. And by whale I am not talking some fat, some flab, some cellulite real women often have some of that, I am talking about the fat rolls that you could lose a small dog in, If you think you are attractive most likely you are Capt ---

Secondly, just based on the laws of probability, as I alluded to earlier, you aren’t going to compete with a petite size 0 22 year old pilates instructor if that is the standard by which someone is judging. And finally, I don’t see how any of it matters, so long as you don’t make a fool of yourself by wearing a swimsuit that is totally shape and age inapropriate. ---

First, why would you care? Second, my reaction is either “interesting” or nothing at all. The only time I have negative thoughts is when a 300 pound woman crams herself into a tube top - and since I avoid WalMart, I don’t see that very often. ---

I like to look. Signs of aging or bits of flabbiness don’t bother me. Mainly because I’m 41 myself. And I seriously doubt I’ll be making it to the cover of GQ magazine anytime soon. So who am I to judge? ---
