I never answer the million pound thing - well, I’d have to say at this point in my life (young, single, unattached, etc), assuming adequate protection of course - I’d probably sleep with anything for that amount. Then I’d go to the Porsche dealership, buy myself a sweet condo in San Diego, and enough tequila to forget how I ever made all that money 😃 ---

The ones who tell you how many men they slept with. OK, so you’re saying you’re a slut. I get the point. I don’t need to know every single detail. I’m in a relationship and think it’s a permanent one, so that probably modifies my answers. I’m tolerant in some ways - no, not sexually desperate, I actually mean tolerant - so I don’t think I’d have turned a woman down based on most of these, save the first one, but I guess the following are turnoffs: Insincerity/lack of sincerity (VERY broad category that takes in most of people’s complaints above, I know, but then, that’s usually what I like or dislike a person based on) Ignorance Excessive religiosity/proselytizing (come to think of it, proselytizing about anything) Lack of sense of humor Smoking, maybe Cell phones 😉 😉 I’m almost 21. And it’s worth noting that all of these things are turnoffs to me about anyone, not just women (or women I’d consider dating). When it comes to dating - that is, people who survive these critera - I don’t accept or reject people based on categories I consider superficial. ---

Pierced anything turns me off. If I were to see the most beautiful girl in the world unveiled before me and she had her nipples or ::ugh!:: nether labia pierced, even if I had taken a fistfull of Viagra I would wilt like a wet sock. Of course, I’m 60, so maybe it’s just a geezer thing. 😉 Then again, for a million, I could probably learn to like it. ---

Well, I’m still 45, and I _like **some** _ piercings; nipple, navel, clit/labia. Ears, of course, are fine, though they don’t really do anything for me. I’m not wild about the 14 holes in one ear thing. And, generally, the facial piercings I’ve seen were just nasty. Tongues I’m not so sure about. Could be interesting. ---

Just about all my turn-offs have been covered. The Emotional turnoffs would be: **Negativity.** Wether it’s depression, victimhood, self-pity, or the snotty, stuck-up, bitchy boredom thing, I can’t stand negativity. I mean, if one of my friends is really down over something, I’ll put my arm around her and talk to her; but if I meet a woman for the first time and she shows one of these as her defining characteristic I’m gone. I have worked hard to maintain my positive outlook on life and I’m not chucking it so I can get my dick wet. I’m not giving away all my hard-earned energy to be with someone who’s determined to be unhappy. There is a set of physical turn-offs that basically describe not taking care of oneself. These would be things like **Drug use/alcoholism** If you can’t have a good time without catching a buzz, you just don’t know how to have a good time and I’m not going to take care of your wasted ass. Being too wasted to open your eyes all the way doesn’t make you look mysterious, it makes you look like a stupid stoner. **Smoking** is nasty & disgusting, but so is **poor hygeine** in general. **Body odor, discolored teeth, bad breath, blackheads**. My ex wife smoked since she was ten and had awful **smoker’s skin**. She has beautiful features and bone structure, but her face looks like one of those granny dolls with a carved, dried apple for a head. And she has the smoker’s voice too. **Obesity** is another one. Nothing says “I don’t give a shit about myself” louder than being obese. I’m not talking chubby or chunky or a spare tire from having kids, I’m talking obesity. Mmkay? I can muster up the energy and self-respect to keep my body healthy and presentable for you, why can’t you manage the same thing for me? **Anorexia** is about the same thing as obesity with _all_ the emotional turn-offs thrown in along with it. Now, who would I not have sex with for a million pounds? I dunno. As long as I’m not going to get AIDS or herpes or any other uncurable disease. I’m 38 years old. ---

I can’t handle piercings at all. Earrings are ok, although I’m not a big fan of them, but anything else? Ewww, no! Well, some nose-studs (small ones), are ok, but it’s rare. Slightly OT: I took my 5 y.o. daughter out to breakfast yesterday. The waitress _smiled_ and seemed _genuinely happy ad joyful_. Sounds normal, right? Wrong; I was in **floored**. I could not remember the last time I met a women who did _not_ appear sullen, brooding, and depressed. So here’s my question; Why does it seem like every women is depressed? They all seem to have the “my-life-is-miserable-and-unfair-and-I’m-an-angry-and-depressed-female” attitude. Why are there so few women who appear genuinely happy? Is it a trendy thing, or are all these women really depressed? ---

I’m 26, and piercings don’t really bother me, except below the waist. They get in the way down there. I don’t mind chunky women, or women with body hair. Both, in fact, can be turn-ons. But I DO mind (as in, these will get her the heave-ho in short order): - Women who try to dictate the relationship (or anything else) to me, - Women who enjoy spending my money a bit too much, - Women who think they are God’s Gift to Men, - “_Armageddon_ is, like, the greatest movie I’ve _ever_ seen!” - Women significantly dumber than I am, - Women who don’t know how to cook, but think I should, - Women with no sense of independence or real-world experience, - Women with _persistent vaginal odor!_ ---

If the only women you see regularly are young, single, and doing menial jobs (like waitressing) then their attitude is NOT unique to their gender. ---

Aw jeez. Whoever mentioned Margaret Thatcher is going to have a lot to answer to… I need to wash the inside of my skull out with soap now. \ Other turnoffs include the usual smoking, sullenness, and/or airheadedness. I’s also include something I can only describe as ‘excessive following of fads’: someone who doesn’t think for themself… Unhealthily obese is a turnoff, but plump is a turnon for me. I’d rather have plump than emaciatedly skinny. But there’s a _lot_ of leeway there. There’s a look that’s a turnoff for me, which I can only describe as ‘excessively-perfect’. It’s the look of a fashion model, with too-shiny skin and too-heavily-outlined lips… just a total artificiality that repels me. A lot of this is attitude and facial expression as well: I get the impression that if some of these models smiled, their makeup would crack on their faces like ice forming pressure ridges on the Hudson Sea… ---
