# Men with shaved head and full beard - are you a fan?

Holy crap! Twenty years and a few thousand of your posts later, today I learn you are not a woman. 😳 Sorry 'bout that.

Like so many said, bald head depends on shape. I think most guys look okay. I’m okay with most beards, as long as it’s trimmed away from the mouth so that I don’t have to watch you chewing hair when you eat. However, you could probably convince me that guys that purposely shave a five o’clock shadow all the time should be heavily fined, maybe even imprisoned.

If I ever do the shaved head thing I would absolutely wear hats outdoors. Just the thought of my virginal head skin being exposed to harsh sun brings visions of skin cancer to my mind.

I think some of them do. I know a couple that insist they didn’t, but it was obvious for years that they were quickly losing their hair. I have no guess at how common it is tho. It wouldn’t surprise me to find out it was pretty high. there was even a _Seinfeld_ sub-plot about Elaine’s shaved head boyfriend freaking out when she pointed out that his stubble showed he was actually going bald.

Shaved because I’m going bald isn’t the same as shaved to hide that I’m going bald. I think a lot of people prefer the esthetics of a shaved head to a balding one. Not me, but i think I’m in the minority.

When I was shaving my head I was surprised/shocked by the number of people who would ask me why I chose to be bald. Rarely I would be in a bad mood and answer that it was none of their fucking business. A few times I was a smart ass and reply “guess you didn’t hear about my diagnosis”. Most often I just said I felt like it.
