Hmm. I guess I’m just of the opinion they’d get better info if they just directly hired more informants. Seems like setting up a big market and trying to decipher it is the long way to get more varied info.

The moral issue can’t be poo-poohed away though. It made for extremely bad optics and is likely the main reason it was spiked. Remember: they used foreign assassinations as an example themselves. I wonder if the Secret Service would be so cosmopolitan over a “kill Bush” future.
