I don’t know what it feels like to get a Brazilian wax. I’ll bet you don’t know what it feels like to pull a (man’s) beard or mustache hair. They are far more solidly attached than groin hairs, in my experience.
I know this is old tread, but I had exactly same thought !
difference? I put it in to action.
my daughter hates hugging me due to my facial hair (didn’t shave for good 4 month now)
even if I shave it off, she dislikes it.
so I decided to wax everything off, why not.
they told my my facial hair will be extra painful due to how tick it was.
I said who cares go a head,
decided to go full waxing
because… well why not
…
shit was so fckin painful
they did my balls and groin area after but you can’t even compare that pain,
I rather wax my balls off everyday.
after getting my face done, gorin area and legs were barely nothing.
bread on neck made me tear up a little,
but my mustache …
and hair underneath my lips…
were so painful,
i never ever experience pain like this before
I mean it was not like having child or getting in to car accident,
but shit … it was up there…
at least it made my groin area and balls tolerate pain lot easier,
I know this is a zombie post, but I didn’t have my, um, situation back in 2006. I’ve been considering laser hair removal when I return to the USA. What I don’t know is if there’s someone who specializes in men, and the sensitive areas that they have that women don’t have. I stopped trying to pull them out after the first one.
So grow a beard.
Too bad it’s unlikely the OP will return to post what happened – no posts in the last several years.
I knew a bloke who was persuaded by some women friends to give home face waxing a try. They applied the wax, but ripping out the facial hair was sooo bad that they had to stop after a few square inches.
Then they had to figure out some way to get the rest of the wax off. This was in the 80s and there were none of those pre-waxed strips around. They just spread it on, old school.
What would the cost and pain of laser or electric removal be, compared to a daily appointment with a barber? It’s your decision. Think it over.
I like to maintain a beard but without a mustache. I get my upper lip waxed on a routine basis. There are waxing salons that do it, just make sure you’re finding men’s lip wax specifically and they’ll do it the right way. It hurt a lot the first time, doesn’t hurt nearly as much and I get a lip wax every six weeks or so. Well worth it.
I first heard about this kind of thing from a black man who would always get infected ingrown hairs from shaving, so he would apply this every morning, and scrape it off a few minutes later. This worked for him.
ETA: I also see that this is a zombie thread.
