Merry Christmas, or whatever you celebrate! I’m waiting for my slugabed husband to rise so we can open presents. Then there’s turkey tonight! And the days are already getting longer! I’m eating chocolate for breakfast! I need a good Brussels sprouts recipe. I’m not “doing the turkey” this year. It’s weird. ---

This allows the non-drinkers among us (my 10YO is too young, my 19YO simply doesn’t care to drink) to have eggnog without worrying, and the rest of us to do it up our own way (I like honeyed bourbon in mine; hubby likes brandy in his).
