Thanks, StephenG! And thanks for asking - “Ma puce” (=my flea) is one of those expressions French people use, along the lines of “My honey,” or “sweetie-pie.” The added “-ette” is a French diminutive, and voila, you have little flea! Most of this is lost in English, I know, but I still thought it was cute… 🙂 ---

Uh… I find it kind of disturbing that people use the name oof a small, bloodsucking insect as a word to show affection. And when I see “pucette”, I think “puke-ette”. Heh, sorry. ---

Hey that’s ok… It was a risk I took 🙂 And it works both ways - French people find it silly that people can be sweet pies, sometimes of the pumpkin variety…
