I think it’s a variant of Poe’s Law. In their stubborn adherence to their preconceptions and biases in the face of better information or more persuasive arguments, some internet idiots are just indistinguishable from the internet trolls who mimic them for fun. It’s as if the **Robert163** ’s of the internet world have been ScotchGard®-ed against exposure to conflicting ideas. You can throw them into the deep end of a knowledge pool and they emerge without a drip. Nothing has soaked in. ---
