> Forgive me the hijack everyone; **kanicbird** : I’m not sure I understood this paragraph and I’d like to make sure I didn’t get an erroneous interpretation. Are you suggesting that women delaying childbirth for the sake of getting a job, education, etc. is undesirable?

My understanding of scriptures I believe points to God’s plan for humanity in Paradise is not planning parenthood but let God do it.

In our fallen society I believe it would work today IF the motivation was to trust God, and not just following a written ‘law’ or a code, but trust in God with all your heart that God knows best. As such trying to delay parenthood would be not trusting God and be less desirable then a life trusting God.
