# Meteor strike caught on camera

Looks very much like a commercial to me. A meteor travels at speeds approaching 50,000 mph. It would do a hell of a lot more damage than that.

Sure enough. Googling “truck meteor commercial” got me this [Snopes messageboard link.](http://msgboard.snopes.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=60;t=001077;p=1)

It’s a Toyota Tacoma commercial.
