# Metronome app for iPhone recommendations, SVP

I currently use BeatDown but auditioned a few others a little while ago. A common problem with BD and the others I tried out is they are awfully quiet. And even headphones don’t overcome the problem. Any suggestions for apps you’ve been happy with?

I use FrozenApe all the time for myself and for class instruction. For a great tuner (that also has a metronome), go with Tonal Energy. It has lots of great features at an affordable price.
