I hope they’re allowing all the comments so they can then say they did indeed listen to everybody. And that they then do indeed do their damn jobs. – I do know from planning board meetings that sometimes it defuses things just to let people talk for a while. And in this case, if they let them all talk, by the time they vote people will be too tired to make a fuss (at least, until the next morning.) I’m not watching this thing at all. I’m sure I’ll read about it, though. ---

That’s ridiculous. There’s got to be a cutoff point. All 500 people don’t need to get their 2 cents in. Come ON. What if more people keep piling in? Well, if they don’t even vote today then they’ve missed the deadline so what then? ---

I’m not watching the meeting anymore, but in my understanding of Robert’s Rules (solely from union conventions and meetings), at some point someone can just call the question if discussion goes on too long. Is that what happened? ---

Yeah, I think you’re right based on what I’ve been reading. Just figured someone will want another count or audit and maybe try to get something to the Michigan Supreme Court. But yeah, if their “evidence” is the same as it has been, trump’s side will continue to get nowhere fast. I’m just wondering how long he can drag out all these different motions in the swing states. He’ll probably keep filing all the way up to January 20 unless some judges finally tell him to stop. I’m kind of looking forward to that day. ---
