But she may yet be in the future.
Nah, not then either. But thanks for catching the omission.
This actually make me laugh out loud. And yes, there’s no doubt who Ronan’s parents are.
Odd. I’ve always thought Woody is about as brilliant as a refrigerator light bulb.
It also struck me she’s more than a little sour about the Soon-Yi thing, I really don’t think it’s beyond Mia to twist the knife every once in a while. She may even believe what she says …
So if he was proven to be a Sinatra, would Woody be entitled to a refund of his (I’m guessing substantial) child.support?
His father is clearly David Rasche (Sledge Hammer!). “Trust me, I know what I’m doing.”
It’s beyond understandable for her to be ‘a little sour’. Allen’s behavior was beyond disgusting. Can’t blame the kid either, for wanting to distance himself from the repellent creep.
I don’t know how it is in New York. But here and in most states I’ve heard of the courts really don’t give a shit about paternity. The time to fight that is prior to the child custody agreement. Once that is done you are the father regardless of his DNA. Even if the woman purposely deceived the guy about the paternity.
No idea if there was actual child support paid in this case.
Nevermind just saw a cite that said $6,000 a month child support.
This is a Judge Judy show that would get blockbuster ratings!
Regardless who Ronan’s father really is, the kid is drop dead gorgeous, brilliant, witty and apparently well-grounded. I would call this the equivalent of winning the Powerball Gene Lottery.
He is also on a rather interesting career path. Any doubt he will be running for office in short order?
I guess we will only know for sure when he breaks into song and sings “My Way” during his first political ad.

Or goes into a long funny neurotic rant about what it all means.
I know, a 16-year marriage and two adopted kids. Shocking.
I’d feel much more comfortable if he were so bitter about something that happened 20 years ago he continued to use his kids against his ex partner.
Exactly. Woody Allen and Mia Farrow were never married, nor did they ever live together. Allen and Soon-Yi did not meet until she was seventeen. Allen never adopted Soon-Yi and never lived with her in Farrow’s home. He and Soon-Yi began their romance when she was nineteen. Allen’s only known and proven offense was falling in love with and marrying his girlfriend’s daughter, a love and marriage which has stood the test of time far better than most of either Farrow or Sinatra’s marriages, and with far less evidence of longstanding infidelity to boot.
Are you sure of this? Soon-Yi was born around 1972 (apparently her birth date is uncertain), adopted by Farrow in 1978, and Farrow’s relationship with Allen began in 1980, when Soon-Yi was around 8. Seems like they would have met earlier than you suggest.
Soon-Yi was apparently one of the kids in Hannah and Her Sisters (1986). Not sure how old she was but it would appear Woody knew her before she was 17.
I recall having read at some point in the past - I think on Wiki - that she was seventeen when they met. Looks like that may be in error though, so perhaps that part of my post should be taken with a grain of salt.
Looking into it a little further it appears you guys are right and that Allen and Soon-Yi were indeed acquainted while she was still a child. I retract the statement that she was seventeen when they met and apologize for the error.
FWIW, I did however find this statement from Soon-Yi on the nature of their relationship at that time:
Maybe think of it like this:
You come across some nude photos of your college-age daughter.
You’re upset but she’s an adult. They might have been taken for an art class, or they might have been taken by a college-age boyfriend.
Then she tells you that they were taken by the man with whom you’ve been in a relationship for 10 years.
Have either of the adopted kids hit puberty yet? When is planning on trading in Soon-yi, do you think?
The implication you’re making, that Mia Farrow’s anger is somehow based in jealousy, is also gross.
