Just heard this on Paul Harvey, so I’m not sure of its accuracy. Evidently, there is a new movie about Edgar Allan Poe in the works, starring you know who in heavy makeup. Now this is just absolutely **wrong**! What the hell do they plan to do with his voice? ---

That’s gotta be total bullshit… But you never know… I mean, Will Smith as Jim West? Gimme a fuckin’ break. Michael as Poe sounds like a worse idea, but think about it… Michael can act (not to say that Will Smith can’t), and maybe other than the looks and the voice he’d make a good poe – but Will Smith is just one of those actors who plays the same character in every movie. Will Smith is \_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_, a loud and smart-assed black guy, in \_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_. I dare you to find a movie he was in that doesn’t fit that description. I happen to like a lot of Michael Jackson’s older music. As for the pedophilia… It hasn’t been proven, and as far as I’m concerned people are still innocent until proven guilty. He’s a big weirdo, but he’s still Michael. ---

I’ve run across the rumor a couple times. I don’t think I’ve seen it anywhere but AICN, though. I’d love to see a good, dark EAP biography, though. Maybe starring Johnny Depp. I think the Michael Jackson one is supposed to be concentrating just on the last couple days of Poe’s life, which would mean they are likely to have a Cell-like visual hallucination of a movie in mind, rather than a real biopic. ---

While I could listen in complete serenity to “Off The Wall” or “Thriller” any day of the week, I firmly believe that this creature is no longer Michael. He bears a closer resemblence to his monster in the “Thriller” video. As a child I was a big fan of MJ. Now I feel he should be put out of his freaky plastic misery.
