cnn is reporting coma not death. perhaps one could consider that slightly dead? not sounding good, sadly, his family may be having to make tough decisions soon ---

MSNBC is quoting the LA Times and saying he’s dead. That’s teh first major to confirm that I’ve seen. LA Times website is stating it quite plainly “Pop Icon Michael Jackson is Dead” ---

CNN is only saying that he was taken to the hospital “in cardiac arrest,” and that said hospital, for obvious reasons, is not releasing any details at the moment. If TMZ is right, wow, what a blow to my memories of childhood. Even if they aren’t, it’s still pretty serious. ETA: Boy, that was quick. ---
