That saddens me. Although I lost all interest in Jackson many a long year ago I can still recall the sheer magic of that Billie Jean video of his. The same jolt went through you watching that as watching early Elvis performances, or James Brown in the 60s and 70s. Lightning in a bottle is rarely captured but when it is it lives on for ever. ---

I feel bad for his family. Let’s just get that out of the way. He was their brother and son and father, so they probably see him differently. That said, boo-frakking-hoo. ---

ABC News (The Australian one) are reporting he’s died, according to TMZ, as are the local radio The BBC are reporting “Michael Jackson Taken To Hospital, Cardiac Arrest, Unconfirmed reports of Death”. Very sad, no matter how you look at it. ---
