I just noticed in the news that Uri Geller just came out of his rock.

Even after Michael became a pariah, Geller was one of the few that got close to Michael, but so much for that closeness. As if we needed any more evidence for what a fraud Geller is, his “powers” could never figure out the dangers Michael was getting into.

Both with children and with his body.

I can easily see Neverland becoming an estate operated tourist attraction to rival Graceland (it even has it’s own “amusement park rides and zoo for a small extra fee”- how hard to add some concession stands?).

Pardon my schadenfreude, but the passage of a god is such a rare thing, and when they fall from Olympus into the sea the tidal waves are fascinating to watch when you’re at the safe distance which cable so nobly provides.

rabbi boteach is speaking on his passing from iceland. iceland, huh? he of course said he could see it coming from the way michael lived and used drugs. is very concerned about his children.

The biological mothers evidently have no more rights than the biological parents of any other adopted child, yet you know they’ll sue; the Jackson [del]family[/del] tribe (how many of them are there? Dozens at least and many of them broke) will sue. I can’t imagine Michael giving much thought to his death so there’s no telling who the guardian is if there is one, and if he did it’s apt to be a triumvirate of Liza Minnelli, Bubbles and Dwight Babcock IV at Knickerbocker Bank, so it could be a battle royale.

I want to have this paragraph’s babies.

I still think it’s very likely that the promoter (AEG Live) of that 50 gig deal in London is going to get paid more from the insurance than if Jacko had lived, because he would’ve flaked on some or all of the shows, anyway.

I just introduced my daughter and her friend to a variety of Young Michael to About to Turn Quite Creepy Michael Jackson videos.

My enthusiam for the Thriller video and explaining to them that song in every house, on every car radio, in every city, in every state, in every country across the world . To say it was everywhere was pretty realistic.

My daughter’s reaction to the dance sequence was, " Zombies can’t dance."
So, I sold her off to white slavery and just put on my Thriller album.

Like, in that interview where he admitted to sleeping with kids with so much innocence. He didn’t have to admit to that, but he did; because maybe he honestly didn’t find it dirty…maybe he honestly didn’t molest anyone.

I get this. I really do. I also understand innocent until proven guilty.

But I used to work with developmentally disabled adults, many of whom have the same lack of understanding about what is appropriate. That doesn’t mean they should not be educated about it, be corrected when they do things that are not appropriate, suffer consequences when they break the law, etc. I knew clients who were on sex offender registries, even though they had a similar lack of understanding about why what they did was wrong.

I’m not happy that he’s dead, make no mistake about that. And I don’t profess to have any inside track on his innocence or guilt. But someone, somewhere should have intervened more if he was unable to make that judgment call himself.

Are these both typos, or do I need to look up negative contractions again? Or “he wasn’t there” as in he wasn’t conscious, and “he wasn’t in full arrest” as in there’s something worse he could have been in?

I started to type “if he wasn’t breathing…” got distracted and continued with the thought “if he was in full arrest” The two were merged. Sheesh.

Here is an interesting piece written by Andrew Sullivan on Michael Jackson and the demons which plagued him.

Again, I am not saying that he had no responsibility to resolve the issues that made him who he was (in the crazy sense), but I do kind of get that no one was exactly lining up to help him do so, not when they could cash in on him instead. And his money certain;ly would have been better spent on psychotherapy than on plastic surgery.

And this from someone who was molested as a child. It’s a very conflicted thing.
