A keen interest doesn’t necessarily mean an erotic interest. The subject is boyhood, not boyflesh, and the photos aren’t prurient. The book might interest Jackson because it appeals to his Lost Boys obsession. Boys doing boy things.
At any rate, the book’s inscription made it clear that it was a gift from a female fan.

First, he doesn’t need to, Polansky fled the country to evade prosecution for repeated consentual sex with a minor female and continues to live and work in Europe.
Jackson has been vindicated on his charges which to his credit, he faced in criminal court, rather than fleeing as Polansky did, a point in his favor.
Without the law hounding him, the question comes down to whether he feels that he will be hounded so much that it will be too uncomfortable in the U.S. But seriously folks, like he wasn;t the center of media attention in the country since he was 5? He may have been facing a lot of awful publicity, but there are many people in Tinsel Town who feel that any publicity is good publicity no matter how tawdry. 🆒
Yes. This seems sick to many in this discussion, especially those who decided from the beginning that he did it. Also to those for whom a giant question mark hangs over his head. Nonetheless we live in a country of due process and he has had his and we have plenty of warning. That’s the unfair side of this for him. In that sense he truly did not get a fair trial because it got far more publicity than a local trial might.
I doubt that there is anywhere in the world really he could go and people would not know about it, so why leave his friends, the bulk of his fans, and family.
THe person with the point about repeat victims was persuasive. Why haven’t many more victims come forward. In many sexual crime cases, once an assailant is publicly identified other victims come forward since these crimes tend to be more about things like anger and rage than actual sex. Where are the other victims.
As Holmes put it, the significance of the barking dog was that he was not barking.
