# Michael Jackson's raspy singing style inspired by Freddie Mercury

Michael Jackson had some meetings with Freddie Mercury between Thriller and Bad. On the album “Bad”, MJ debuted his new raspy style voice, and my conjecture is that it was inspired by Mercury, the baddest voice in rock.
