Cite: Michael Moore won an Oscar for Best Documentary Feature, and proceeded to give a short speach about how he love non-fiction and about how we have a “ficticious President” waging a “ficticious war” and “Mr. Bush, your time is short,” etc. Pretty much exactly what I expected him to say. ---

Maybe it went by a little too fast to catch what was really said, but did the guy who won after Moore, for the 9-11 documentary, thank the victims for “making the ultimate sacrifice for their country”? Seemed like an attempt to respond to Moore that wasn’t thought through far enough. ---

I changed the channel when Diane Lane announced his name (and apparently wet herself in her excitement) and I turned back right at the end when he was trying to make himself heard over the boos. So, is it correct he attacked Bush and the audience turned on him? Really? ---

I feel most sorry for the other nominees, who Moore invited on stage with him. They were stuck up there, standing behind this guy as if they supported him, whether they did or not. What a prick, to put them in that position. ---
