“Fifty-one percent of the American people lacked information [on election day] and we want to educate and enlighten them…” That attitude is what pisses me off so much about Michael Moore. I prefer to get my information from multiple sources, rather than relying on an individual with extremist views. (Hey, I don’t listen to Rush Limbaugh either.) ---

All in all, I wonder why he would bother. F911 was an important movie, he made a little bit of history (and a lot of money) with it. A sequel would have a hard time living up to the original. Matrix II anyone? ---

Psst… Michael. F911 was a very good movie, so was Roger and Me. I agree wth about 80% of what you have to say, but you have to go away now. You may think you’re helping, but you’re not. Seriously, even us liberals are getting sick of you, do you honestly think any moderates or conservatives will ever listen to what you have to say? Here’s the deal. Shut up, or at least be less blatant. Go make a left-leaning special effects extravaganze, where you play out a GWII parable with aliens, or something. Have fun! Now there is an idea. What could MM that would broaden his career? A musical? A video for MTV? (I like that idea.) Maybe something on Broadway. Seriously, now that he made his bucks, he could do whatever he wants. Why would he want to do More Of The Same? ---

Actually, I think he could make an interesting film if he’s brave enough to travel to Iraq and interview and film there. That could turn out _very_ interesting. And it might even be his last film. ---

Moore jumped the shark with the book “Will they Ever Forgive Us?” which features a cover with poor Mike holding a folded up flag and looking very sad. Hey, Mike, if you wanted to release a book about what soldiers and their families think, why are YOU on the cover? ---

Toward the end, we get a scene with Moore staring into the camera, crying and babbling about how he’s “Sooooo hungry,” and apologizing for how he won’t be able to finish the documentary. In the very last scene of the movie, he finds an old run-down house way out in the desert. Inside, he finds one of the student filmmakers standing in the corner, waiting to be beheaded. Then he screams and the movie abruptly ends. ---

My peeve with moore is that he is becoming way to extremist. He’s already decided that Bush’s second term will be a disaster. I somewhat share the same view though it is possible that the second term of this administration will be better than the first. Will Moore change his documentary if peace is established in the Middle East? Likely not. There should be a new genre for documentarys like his. His documentarys are more like Essays than reports.
