There’s a commercial running right now with a remake of “Mad World” by Tears for Fears that sounds like it’s being sung by Michael Stipe from R.E.M. Does anyone know how to get a copy? I really like that version. ---

It’s done by Michael Andrews and it can be found on the Donnie Darko soundtrack. I believe it was #1 in the UK for a bit. ---

Funny, I just found that song too. I heard it from a neighbours room, and thought it sounded good, so I tried to find it in my collection. I was so sure it was Stipe singing, that I checked all REMs hits, and the whole of their new album. In the end I found it via google. Brilliant cover. ---

Good cover, but I prefer the original. The original has a more angst, a nice bridge, and the original video has some great dance moves the cover video lacks. ---
