Speaking of appearances, so far we’ve got really bizarre visual images from two prominent crazy right-wing chicks: 1) Katherine Harris, a few years ago when she was first running for Congress, gave an entire interview standing three-quarters to the camera with her tits thrust out like she was in a pageant; 2) Sarah Palin, at a turkey ranch, yakking away, oblivious to the travails of the unfortunate turkey behind her. I have every confidence we’ll get something like that from Bachmann. ---

Well, not an interview, but there is video footage of her on the fringes of a gay pride festival, crouching down to hide in the bushes, so she could keep an eye on them without being seen. This is just a solidly Republican district, and most of them just vote for the Republican candidate, regardless of who it is. In fact, many of them recognize how goofy Mad Michelle is, and they have been voting against her. If not for the 3rd party candidate splitting the vote, she would not have survived this election. (Having a 3rd party candidate as a stalking horse for the Republicans seems to be a popular tactic in Minnesota – Tim Pawlenty would have lost both his governor elections if not for that.) ---
