For anyone who did not know or may have forgotten , Mrs. Trump #3 was born in Slovenia. Mrs Trump #1 was born in Czech republic. But Marla Maples can run. 🙂 ---

Yes it is very important to have an inspiring standard bearer. But he or she \*has to have a standard to bear \*and we already know that “OMG, BUT, TRUMP!!!” was **not** enough. Plus TODAY, year 2020, you put Michelle out there and both the Bernsters and the Bloomklobuttegegers will look upon it as the Deep Party trying to reassert itself. Looking back at the Obama phenomenon: Yes he got the young and the minorities and a bunch of the previously apathetic inspired to go out to vote. \*For \*\*HIM \*\*in the presidentials. \*But not so much for anyone else in the midterms or locals, did they? Which left him stymied at every turn. At the end of 8 years exactly what of all the transformational hope & change _actually came to be_? His team mostly governed like centrists trying to just keep it steady as she goes, and look at the thanks they got for it. Team O rather than reshape the DNC right , just left it as it was, prepared to fight the last war, and now it has been up to whoever’s still around afterwards to fight it out over whether the way to counter ascendant rightwing nationalist-populism is going all in on establishment continuity or on hard ideological redirection. ---
