That’s right. All you Ann Arbor, Lansing and Kzoo punks. You’re hauling your ass to the hardboiled suburbs of Detroit; where there’s an Olive Garden on every corner and shady neighborhood kids who play basketball in their driveways… but I’m sure they’re up to _something._ Anyway… **Where?** My House (Sterling Heights / 14 & Van Dyke… not far off I-696) **When?** You tell me… within a month, preferably a Fri or Sat, as light nights can be typical and encouraged. **How?** If you need a ride, carpooling is a good option. I know many of the usual suspects, and can tell you who to trust and who to call the cops on. **What?** Bring your favorite libations. I’ll have some here, the typical beer and wine fare. Softdrinks too. Let me know if you have any allergies or dietary exceptions, as my wife is a kickass cook, and will probably put together a spread that could tear a hole in space and time and let loose a dinosaur. **Who?** Anyone. Lurkers, Regulars, Mods, Out-of-staters, and your guest/SO. (just, please, no psychopaths or assholes). Don’t be shy, that’s my job. I have Xanax. Now, don’t be a pussy, and let’s coordinate. My house is free of any pets (except for a few odd fish here and there). I have a decent amount of room. Comfortable. And plenty of games (Apples to Apples, Scrabble, Cranium, Scene It, Trivial Pursuit, Lord of the Rings Risk, Battleship, Connect Four, Shutes and Ladders, Candyland…) _and GO!_ ---

I wish I could make it, but I don’t think a trip back to Michigan is gonna’ be in the works any time soon. It’s too bad, though; I’ve been fondly thinking back to some of our earlier MichDope-Fests, recently. To anybody who might be reading this and trying to decide whether or not to attend: do so! It’s a great group of people. ---
