Ok, so it’s web page designers fault. Does that really make any difference? It certainly Isn’t Microsoft’s fault.
All of the code involved was written by Apple and/or various web page designers.
The only way MS could have ‘fixed’ this problem was to register these extensions on behalf of QT. Are you actually saying MS is guilty because they didn’t fix their competitors code to work better than the competitor designed it to? :rolleyes: right back at 'ya.

Did. I started as OS/2 drivers expert back when OS/2 was jointly written by MS & IBM. I left a few months after shipping Win95.
