# Middle Tennessee Dopefest Poll

I’ve been fighting a migraine all week and missed the poll, but will still gladly be there. Just assign a time and place and item to bring and I’ll be prepared.
**PapSett** - I’d even be willing to have you come over before or after to meet my animals. If you wanted to spend the night before heading back, I have a couch you could sleep on. Nick would be welcome, of course. My house is pretty rough - no cental heat and air, but as long as it’s not too hot, you could open windows and have a fan - that’s what I do.

What a wonderful offer **StG**!! I would LOVE to come meet your critters, most definitly! Doubtful that I will be able to spend the night tho, as I will still hasve multiple animals at home. Tho I would _love_ to bring Nick… he is seriously a Doper kinda dog… the more I think about it, I will most likely leave him home with Kharma, I hate the thought of her being alone all day. Still trying too figure out a way that I could bring the Nickster…

All right!
Now for the time. I will be working until 5:30 am that day, so I’m best after 2:00 pm. If the majority want it earlier, it’s still doable.
It has been suggested to me that some kind of a book swap might be fun. As Dopers, I figure most of us have a few that we’d gladly trade for something new (to us). Anybody else?
Any other ideas for the best Nashville Dopefest evah? 😛

So far, we have **Bexan** , **Zeldar** (and assuming that you’ll bring your date 😃 ), **StGermain** , **PapSett** , **Cub Mistress** and **missred**.
Potluck and book swap.

I’m happy that you think I have any male friends! I’m content to let them speak for themselves. The “date” will be there, and we’ll come at whatever time the others pick. As for “pot luck” don’t get your hopes up. How does a cheese tray from Kroger sound?

A long time ago, I was at a friend’s bar, and he said he was getting married. I knew his fiance pretty well, and in my drunken state a I slurred “I’ll DJ the wedding for you” (I’ve done a few bar parties at their place). Well, they weren’t drunk and accepted my offer. As I’ve always said, “The world would be a more interesting place if people did all the things they said they would when they were drinking.”
Anyway, and for some reason I decided to take the long, rambling route to get here, the wedding is on May 22nd, so I’m pretty much out. I guess they could break up before then, so here’s hoping!
On a side note, I need a good steak house in Nashville for the bachelor party…any suggestions?

grills are allowed plus there are permanent grills in place. do we want to try to reserve a pavilion?

Still hoping I can join in…Don’t know what my work schedule is going to be then. And with it being that late in the day for a start time, I have to worry about my dogs bring locked up that long-I don’t have anyone that can come let them out. ☹ Gonna do my best to make it tho!

It may be too soggy for the Fest, even by month’s end.
