We were just around the corner from the Kids’ Castle. We weren’t certain which tables would be available, so we marked off an area. Sorry you missed us. ☹ I was looking forward to meeting y’all. **Zeldar** , we really missed you and **Zoe**. I’m sending **Zoe** some hugs and wishes to feel better. We ladies had a good time, nevertheless (although I seemed to have picked up a small patch of poison ivy or something). Should we have a Dopefest in the autumn, my vote would be to rent a specific shelter. ---

Our party was just **Bosda** , **pope\_hentai** , my lurker friend, and me. I can’t speak for the others – **Bosda** , especially, since he left pretty quickly because he was feeling ill – but I had fun and enjoyed meeting **pope** , even if he is a 4chan poster. I’d already been there for about an hour before meeting Bosda – I forgot the time difference as I’m from Eastern Tennessee – and he said he’d already walked around asking others if they were there for the Cecil Adams party, so we just sat somewhere prominent and hoped for the best. I guess we just missed each other? Thankfully, **pope\_hentai** is as nerdy as I and checked the board to see if anyone posted and found us. Who wound up being at the other table? We should definitely do another one come fall, and make sure we actually know what we’re doing this time. ---

Oh, I’m so sorry we missed you guys. How frustrating! I got home at about 8:30 and fed the horses. Nakota didn’t come up for her dinner, which is unusal. It was dark, so I looked around and finally went back to the house. Finally at 11:30 I decided to look again. I tooka flashlight out and poked around the pastures, but didn’t see her. I went up to the house and took a shower. Meanwhile, my cop neighbor was in his garage and saw the flashlight on my land. When I didn’t answer my phone, he came down to my house to check on me. Plus, my horse was way in the back (about 1600 feet back) and his wife could see her so I knew she was okay. I heart my neighbors. StG ---

Thanks for the understanding. **Zoe** and I slept away most of yesterday trying to watch some TV. I guess altogether we must have tried three different times to get more than 5 minutes worth into the same show we had DVR’ed earlier. Finally finished watching that show late last night. This falling asleep thing is more **Zoe** ’s way of dealing with daylight these days. My nodding off is a nighttime thing. But yesterday worked for both of us. Sorry to hear about the confusion of place y’all had. Sounds like you made the best of it, though. Yes, let’s do plan another occasion for the fall. October, maybe? And renting a shelter sounds very smart. ---
