Midori can be essential in making some good tasty (and fairly easy on the bartender) drinks. Two off the top of my head that have fun names as a bonus: Bald Pussy 1 1/2 shot Melon liqueur 1 shot Lime vodka 1 shot Absolut Vodka 1 shot Triple sec 1 1/2 shot Blueberry schnapps 1 splash Lime juice 1 splash 7-Up Tie Me To The Bedpost 1/2 oz Malibu rum 1/2 oz Midori Melon liqueur 1/2 oz Sweet and sour mix 1/2 oz Lemon vodka Ice cubes As I bartender, I thought the “hip” drinkers were the ones who planned ahead and brought a designated driver or stayed home to drink. What a square I am, I guess. ---

**Tequila Mockingbird** : In New York City, no one has to drive. We have Taxi’s available at the raise of an arm as well as public transportation. Even at 4:00AM (when the bars are SUPPOSED to close). But you’re right if you are not in NYC. There is nothing cool about drunk driving, nothing cool about all of the death and tragedy caused by them, and it is VERY cool to have the strenth to not drink while all your friends get fucked up so you can make sure they (and the others on the road) get home safely.
