Oh, and BTW **Arden** , you know if you come, **Pers** will be wetting her pants over the entire idea! š Iāll be happy to pick you up at the airport, if need be!
Also, for any ladies staying with me Friday night, if youāre interested, we could go out to my Dadās and use his sauna. A real, live Finnish sauna with a stove and rocks and plenty of _beverages_ for all. This is the home of the Black Cherry Cordial. I donāt think I need to say anymore. š

Iām checking flights as we type š
Iām going to be in Virginia for a week in October and Iām not sure how well my son is going to handle that and how long it will take for him to get over Mommy being gone. Again. So a lot hinges on what his teacher and counselor say.

Goddamnit, people! I hereby **forbid** you to hold this gathering two weeks before I am able to attend. I have to (as in hafta hafta hafta) be here in MO on November 10. Now, if this shopping expedition were to be held on, say, November 24, Iād be in Monroe with nothing to do and a trip to Birch Run would be perfectly justified.
Thereās only one choice: **you must reschedule.** Thatās all there is to it. š

See, but thatās the _beauty_ of it! Thereās no time like Thanksgiving weekend to get back to the primal instincts of hunting, gathering, survival of the fittest, etc. Thereās nothing quite like the adrenaline rush one gets from elbowing someone in the sternum and pushing them out of the way for the wolves to eat as you lunge for that last pair of 50% off shoes and theyāre _yours! You are victorious and the other shoppers are mere roadkill because **the shoes are yours! Bwahahahaha!** _
So anyway, um, yeah, I like shopping on Thanksgiving weekend, but I suspect that the above was not very persuasive.
I could also swing the weekend before that (November 17), but you seem to have quite a bit of interest in the 10th, so you all go have fun without me. ::sniff:: No, really, I donāt mindā¦

BunnyGirl, even though I just found out a few seconds ago that you are a (gasp, sputter, choke) U of M fan (and we all know that Wolverines make Baby Jesus cry), I would loooove to hang with the chicas as long as I could hitch a ride with you or wring.
I fucking LOVE Frankenmuth. Gives me a chance to indulge in my love for German kitsch and get some damn good chicken while Iām at it. Plus the basement of Zehnderās is THE place for all things yummy, be they jams, jambalaya mixes, or German chocolate (droolā¦).
Keep me posted on what goes down.

Yeah bunny, Iām in Lansing. I was replying to your question in that thread when the Great Purge of '01 took the boards down. When the boards finally came back up, the thread was gone.
Itās been a few years since Iāve been to Frankenmuth. Early November is really the best time to go. The holiday feeling is starting to kick in, but the snow usually hasenāt.š
Unless the boss is unreasonable, count me in. If she is, I could still see you guys on Friday night.

Maybe weāll do a chick thing on Friday night if we can get enough ladies in Lansing. Thereās a brew club in E. Lansing here (Harperās - been there?) or we can do the sauna gig at my dadās. Which, by the way, is where next yearās **Dopapalooza** will be held.
