Why does it always have to be Texas? Plenty of ignorant assholes in Oklahoma. Won’t say there’s _more_ ignorant assholes, but that’s because Oklahoma is smaller and they are too dumb to make babies. ---

There’s just more money in Texas and they have funneled that money into a political force that is tough to combat. After what Bush/Cheney did to the country it is mind-boggling that the Texas machine could resurrect itself in such a short period of time. They wrecked the country and are now promoting themselves as the saviors. They looted the banking system twice (the S&L crisis and the 2008 banking crisis) now they want to go in and take whatever is left. They don’t give a rat’s ass about the overall good of the country or the economy. It’s all about how much money they can generate for themselves. All the “budget cutting” is about union busting. It’s not about fiscal responsibility. Clinton gave us fiscal responsibility and the Republicans just spit on it. The Texas machine is the Reagan Southern California machine moved to an area with better tax breaks. It’s still the same mindset that thinks that anything that anybody else has is something they don’t have. It’s greed personified. Trickle down is a dangerous fantasy and has proven to be a disaster. It’s insane! How have they been able to convince middle Americans to vote against their own self interest? I hate to say it, but it’s as if middle Americans who are “Tea Partiers” are like rape victims that want to be raped.
