The only thing I know about Larry the Cable Guy is that he’s one of the starring characters in Pixar’s _Cars._ That’s good enough for me. 🙂 ---

Don’t worry Gabe, I’m with you. Larry the Cable guy is about as unfunny as it gets. I guess I just don’t “get it,” but that’s ok with me. The dumbass sold out three shows here in Indy. We can’t get decent bands to come here, but we can support the redneck guy! Hooooooweeee. ---

After watching the original BCCT dvd, I thought Ron White was by far the funniest of the four. Shortly after that made it big, the BCCT guys started coming through here. I had no desire to see Foxworthy or Engvall (although I like some of the here’s your sign bit). I was talked in to seeing Larry the Cable Guy. He was excellent. I was all over seeing Ron White. Honestly, it was a huge waste of time and money. He was mostly trying out new material and it went over with a resounding thud. Where Larry seemed to be enjoying himself and promised to make himself available after the show for however long there were people who wanted to meet him, Ron White seemed annoyed at even being there. He gave off a huge “just cashing a paycheck” vibe. It was extremely disappointing. I always liked one of his lines though. Ron (relating about being thrown into public): “I didn’t know how many of them it was going to take, but I knew how many they were going to use.” One I like from Larry. woman in the crowd (screaming): “I love you Larry” Larry (without missing a beat): “I thought I told you to wait in the truck” ---
