I’ve slunk through this thread, and all I wanna know, is, having had more than my share of chigger bites on my ankles … … complaining about chigger bites is racist now? * * * Lived in the Dallas area for 30 years, and I can guaran-damn-tee you, I’d be laughed out of any bar (or they’d buy me a drink, just for the ballz) for claiming that. ---

Oh, I rather hope my word is NOT the last one. But we are not far off from the school auditorium situation where kids notice the program is about to start so it’s time to be quiet and they say “shhh!” really loud, which prompts other kids to say “SHHHH!” even louder, so more kids go, “ **SHHH!** ” and “_ **SHHH!** _” … well, you get the picture. ---
