It simply means having trouble getting words out, for whatever reason. The poster who used that phrase would never have insulted you the way you assume. It also means a medical condition where the tongue is attached to the bottom of the mouth too far (the lingual frenulum) and needs to have it snipped to release it. But most people aren’t using it in that sense. ---

You come from a place of wealth and privilege. You can easily afford to do these things. That’s lovely. But you do realize that there are people, some on this very board, who are not wealthy and who make sacrifices in their daily lives so that they can also do these things. AND they don’t brag about it or use those actions as an excuse to be free from criticism. Some have mentioned that this place is a refuge for you and therefore you shouldn’t be held to the same standards as everyone else. I’m willing to bet that it’s a refuge for a lot of people here. And that fact does not confer anything special on anyone. ---

I don’t mind Beck’s posts for the most part. I do mind when she acts all Karen-y. On three separate occasions she has accused me of having a gambling addiction, in so many words. On the third time, she flat out told me that I needed to go to Gambler’s Anonymous. Nowhere have I ever mentioned having a gambling addiction. I have a lifestyle that involves more gambling than the average person, and I reap several benefits due to my involvement. I’m an educated gambler, and I have not thrown away my life. This is not some vice. Beck acts like it is though. I explained my style of gambling in my very first thread. The degenerate part has more to do with my behavior, inside and outside the casino, than my gameplay. I explained that in my first thread also. ---
