What is with the digression to so many 1-4 word sentences? So few words. Cannot put more. In one sentence. Drives me. Nuts. Argh. ---

Yeah, that makes sense. I wasn’t aware that not only is this a thing, but it’s not even new. I guess I was thinking about like when you stash your smokables in between your underwear and your shoes 🙂 ---

I used to be that way, too, way back in the Xanga days 20+ years ago. I wanted all of my lines to be tidy and separate in their own independent non-linked-together way, to emphasize the separateness of my thoughts. Maybe **Beck** is like that too. ---

How about people just don’t want their data mined? This. If I’ve done anything criminal (i don’t think i have) i sure as hell don’t have photographic evidence on my phone. Unless, i dunno, having friends who supported pro-Palestinian rallies on college campuses retroactively becomes illegal, in which case, you might find that out by searching my phone. I’m not really worried about random data mining from immigration. That’s not what they are set up to do. In the random data mining sphere, I’m more worried about DOGE. But when i used to sometimes travel for work, my employer was worried about that kind of thing. ---

You usually have the option to print one out when you book online. My printer broke shortly before my flight to Florida. I used an e-ticket in my iPhone’s Apple Wallet for the first time. I will be buying another printer because I like to print weird things, and print them in color. I do not know what percentage of people these days own a printer. ---

But don’t you need a boarding pass, rather then a ticket, to get past TSA? Last time I flew, I had to use my phone app for my boarding pass, but is that an absolute requirement? ---

Sorry, I meant boarding pass. All those kiosks will spit them out for you. We flew a month ago with 3 children, and had paper boarding passes for everyone. It’s not like the airlines are going to exclude everyone who doesn’t have a smartphone from flying. ---
