Miller is running a big [ad campaign](http://www.votemillerbeer.com/av.jsp) at the moment - pop-ups all over the web - but, er, has anyone actually read the small print?

Huh? So if I thought that, say, Bud Light had a pleasantly mild, beery taste, whereas Miller Lite had an overpowering taste of rotten haddock, this would be a good thing, as far as Miller is concerned?

Interesting advertising strategy there.

I think we finally have a winner of the “company that should never have promised to conduct an advertising campaign promising taste tests before such tests were actually carried out” award.

In other news, Americans agree: Miller is 43% More Full of Crap Than Other Leading Brewers

Yet another example of “Their product sucks, but ours is better, so you should buy it” school of advertising.

There’s plenty of room for suckage above the level of Bud for Miller to suck, too.

Plus, if everybody keeps saying that all these cheap products are nasty, eventually people begin to think… “Hey, they’re right! They’re _all_ nasty!”
