Holy crap. Ignorance was given a beat down here. I had NO IDEA that there was a Shawn and Aaron Ashmore. I just assumed it was the same guy from the X-Men movies. Wow.

I’m going to disagree here. The problem wasn’t Clooney, it was a terrible script and worse direction. I’m not saying Clooney would have been fantastic in a better Batman movie, but I don’t think he would have been embarrassing. I think he could play the playboy side of Bruce Wayne quite well, and he’d do OK in the cape and cowl. He might have some trouble with the darker aspects of Bruce Wayne, but I think he could turn in a servicable performance under better circumstances.
