:: small bump :: What do y’all think of [Prairie Moon](http://www.prairiemoonrestaurant.com/about.php) in Evanston? Yummy food, beer, other drinkables, less crowded than, say, the Hopleaf, they accept reservations, easily reachable on the Purple Line (halfway between the Davis St. and Dempster St. stations, so no more than 3 - 4 blocks from either), relatively easy parking for free on residential streets… And no, I’m not biased, because they’re owned by one of my high school classmates or anything… ---

Dammit. These things always happen on the weeks where I have to work Friday AND Saturday (at 0630), so I’m out. ☹ Have fun. It’s no different than UK weather right now–it’s about 38 (F) and raining out. You should be right at home. (it’s supposed to drop tonight, Wednesday, to about 20, but who knows what Friday will bring? Probably more of today). ---

OK, as we are now just over 2 days out, may I request something reembling a headcount? Who’s in? OK, somebody’s got to do it, so it might as well be the local person who is hosting the guest of honor…Prairie Moon it is, then. We (meaning **Tom Scud** and I, and **Angua,** provided she wants to come directly with us rather than finding her own way there) won’t be able to get there until 6:30 at the absolute earliest, so let’s call it 7 pm? Everyone needs to be super-nice to **Angua,** who has something to celebrate, indeed. But I’ll let her tell you all about it; I’d hate to steal her thunder. 🆒 ---

:: bump :: Reservations made for 8 at 7 pm. Ask for Cecil Adams. I think the guy who took the reservation didn’t think I sounded like a Cecil, but he didn’t skip a beat, even when I explained. But he didn’t seem to care what my actual name was. I feel a bit like a spy. 🆒 So by my count, we have what, 6 at least semi-confirmed? I figure it’s no big deal for extra people to show up - the place is pretty decent-sized. C’mon, guys, it’s not too late! It’ll be FUN! ---
