There is going to be a post-holiday Mini-ChiDope on Saturday, January 31st. Exact time and venue TBD. All locals and any insane person who wants to come to Chicago in the dead of winter are welcome to attend. As usual, we’ll be having a big ChiDope sometime in the spring (probably in May since April can still be pretty cold). I’ll be starting a thread sometime next month with a date and a Saturday night venue. ---

**Eva** , have you ever had those tiny little chocolate candies that are in the shape of bottles, filled with various kinds of booze? Damn, those is good. Anyway, going somewhere for ChiDope Chocolate Martini sounds good. And since it’ll be the dead of winter, maybe someplace that has a good hot toddy. ---

I seem to vaguely recall someone’s child shilling chocolate bottles of booze at **Jane D’Oh** ’s house. Delicious. As long as there is no sangria, I will be there. ---

Chi-town in January scares me a little. If it’s not snowing too badly (driving in snow where I live is bad enough - but driving in a city I only faintly know is much worse), I might tag along. As long as y’all pick a place that’ll admit my 20-y/o ass. ---
