# Mini Election-week Dopefest in Salt Lake CIty

Awright, who’s in Salt Lake?
**RJKUgly** and **Diane** have expressed interest, **Byzantine** , **Snark** both live in town . . .
Who else?
I’m going to be in SLC November 5-10. Since I live in the ass-end of nowhere, this might be my only chance to meet Dopers IRL.
I’m going to be without a car, staying at Little America, so downtown will be best. Squatters, Red Rock, Port o Call, whatever–I’m easy. I think Sunday or Wednesday might be best for me, but any day that week will work too. An overnighter is out for me (I’m at a conference all week), but I’m happy staying up as late as is possible in rockin’ downtown SLC.
I’m buying the first round, and will take pictures. I might even have nametags.
Again, just to emphasize . . . _I’m buying the first round._

Sorry, been on the run and didn’t see this until now.
Sunday or Wednesday evening would work for me. If there are no other preferences, Port O’ Call would be my choice, as I have a membership there.
As far as night life is concerened, I’m probably the worst guy to ask, but if we can get Diane to show, I’m willng to bet she knows the hot spots to the north! 😉
Anyway I’m up for dinner, drinks, whatever. 'Bout time we had a dopefest here, even a mini one!

Well, no other Utah dopers have spoken up yet, but maybe they will yet. I’m thinking that some may check in while at work today.
