Get to the doctor, **raventhief**. I had a mole on my cheek that did that and it was cancer. I got it removed before it spread, but don’t wait! ---

My insurance company switched pharmacies. I went to the old one and because my insurance wasn’t covering there my medication was over $1000. I’m upset with having to change pharmacies, but more pissed about finding out that one of my three medications is over $15 for one pill. I can’t think of many things the size of a pill that cost $15 or more . . . diamonds? ---

The wife went from an injection of anticoagulant at a C-note a day to a $50 a day pill. Everything covered by insurance, but I lost having to find 13 gallon sharps containers. I have to inject two different kinds of insulin, three times a day. Cost of refills varies, and can cost me a copay of over $500. And that’s with Medicare and supplemental insurance. ---

Touché. I guess I do still have it easy compared to some people. My wife and I had a wonderful conversation with our insurance after finding out today that we now have a deductible for the pharmacy. Also, pharmacist who work for insurance companies should not tell people what medications to try. That is my neurologist’s job, NOT YOURS. I’m starting to feel better now. ---

So, I ranted about the new wood floors I had installed in the thread a few months ago. Lousy customer service, canceled the install date without letting me know, then didn’t contact me to reschedule, etc. The installers were great; Empire Today itself, awful. They still haven’t cashed my check. The ~$12,000 is still sitting in my checking account, _two months later_. I finally contacted them, and they’d like to charge my credit card (hell no), or drop by to pick up a new check (hell now). So I’ll have to mail them a new check, and then contact my bank to make sure the prior check is truly voided like they claim. … Although I feel like pointing out to them that I have a copy of the signed statement that I’ve Paid In Full. dipshits. ---

Do not send them a second check until you have stopped payment on the first check. Then deduct the bank’s fee (for stopping a check) from your second payment. If they complain, show them the receipt and tell them to STFU. You cannot trust these people with 2 valid checks for the full amount. You know they will end up trying to cash them both and putting you in all kinds of mess. ---
