He’s been charged with 3rd degree murder and with manslaughter. More charges may be filed later. The other three police are still under investigation. County Attorney Freeman seemed pissed he didn’t get an attaboy for (according to him) filing charges so fast. ---

Though with the mask, I’m not sure facial recognition would work, anyway. Just a couple of points: The Attorney General of Minnesota is Keith Ellison, former Congressman. He is also a Muslim. I don’t think he’s going to be sweeping anything under the rug. Another point is that Target is a major figure in Minnesota. Not just as an employer, but it’s a political figure, as well. They have, in the past, given contributions to right wing politicians (including one who was running against Mark Dayton, scion of the founding family of Target), but they have backed off on that funding in recent years. ---
