# Minor feature request for new board software

While deciding on what new board software to use, I just wanted to toss it out there that I wouldn’t hate it if there were a light style (black text on off-white background like we have now) and a dark style (off-white text on dark background.)
Obviously not at the top of the priority list; just throwing it out there.

I want all my posts to have a LIGHT SHOW, like the Ken Kesey/Grateful Dead Acid Tests in San Francisco in the mid-60s. Great Day-Glo amoeba blobs in the background. It’d really spark things up, dontcha think? Get on that, would you?

With my old eyes, I’d prefer black text on white background, instead of blue-gray on paler blue background.

I’d like a realistic, down-to-earth board that’s completely off the wall and swarming with magic robots.

A Dark Mode would be nice for bedtime browsing. (Bright colors tend to keep people awake if I’m understanding the science correctly).

I want what I’ve always wanted: a full-on boolean search engine that handles phrases or the _absence of_ words or phrases, specified literal strings, this AND that, this OR that, that and also (that or this other thing) but NOT that.
