I got a couple of questions for you. 1) Where do the Cotton Kings play their games, the Lubbock Coliseum or the new United Spirit Areana? 2)Which league did the Crickets play in, and do you know if the whole league folded or just the Crickets?
OK. So maybe technically that was three questions.
The Altoona Curve, a team here in central PA. Apparently a pun of somesort involving this area’s railroad history, The team mascot is a railroad engine’s smokestack.
Affectionately known by my children as The Altoona Melt. Actually, they have a very nice ballpark with a small amusement park situated beside it.

The baseball team here has a pretty lame name (The Eugene Emeralds), but the womens’ softball team are the Eugene Debs, which never ceases to amuse me.

The Cotton Kings play in the Coliseum; the new arena’s pretty strictly for basketball and special events.
They played in the Texas-Louisiana League, which is still in existence. It was just the team that folded.
