Don’t have much to say but I’ll take this opportunity to summarize my take on each of the above if for no other reason than to give you some ammo… Foley… he’s a fucking pervert. The MSM’s desire to make that the major issue of the election (at that point in time) could depress the Conservative anti-pervert vote or it could make that block realize that helping to elect Dems will not reduce the pervert population. In fact, might embolden the perverts. Ford ad … most Playboy bimbos are dumb and white. Why do you always have to play the race card? Webb’s eroticisms … can’t remember actually. There’s the obvious connection to the anti-pervert vote mentioned above. Kerry’s joke… no apology for this one. It brought out anti-Kerry dems as well others I’ve never heard from before. Could the MSM blow it… I’m disappointed with this one but I should have known that it couldn’t overcome the CW on the SDMB that the MSM is not LIBERAL. Do note the use of the word “complacent” in the OP. I think I had a point. Senate re Judiciary … that one was right down the middle. What’s the problem? ---

[/QUOTE] I didn’t think the thrust of the response on this issue was Foley’s behavior but the apparent cover-up of said behavior over an extended period of time - several months to years, depending on who you believe. The people intent on painting the entire Republican party with a wide “they’re all perverts” brush don’t have too much support from the left. ---

I have come to the conclusion that anybody who uses the abbreviation “MSM” for mainstream media is a blithering idiot. Anybody know of any exceptions to this apparent rule? ---
