I hate to break it to you, but the Cubs have always stunk. I’m a Tiger fan, but they stink too. So, it helps to root for a better team as well as the home team, like say, the Yanks. 🙂 Adam * * * “Life is hard…but God is good” ---

I have a friend who’s a cub fan and I used to tease him that the Cubs couldn’t get into the series even if they bought tickets. The ushers would turn them away saying “your karma might screw up the decent players” * * * To deal with men by force is as impractical as to deal with nature by persuasion. ---

Satan I thought you Southerners hated Yanks! My dad recently defected to the south (we’re from Upstate NY), he’s been there 2 years and he still hears this joke at least once a day (or so he claims): What’s the difference between a Yankee and a Damn Yankee? A Yankee goes home It’s starting to get on his nerves. However, I think that he has turned into a redneck. Now he is all into NASCAR and watched Mayberry for god (oops, sorry) sake! ---
